From the temples of Luxor and Aswan to the cafe boats on the Nile River, Egypt has always utilized every inch of the natural world gifted to them. Through explorations of various cities, I have documented the unique ways in which Egyptians have created and designed infrastructure- from ancient times to modern-and how local fauna and flora have thus reacted. Featured in this selection is the temples of Hatshepsut, Karnak and Dendera, markets of Khan el Khalil, and the emerging condos in New Cairo.
